Descripción:: El presente artículo describe y analiza desde una perspectiva antropológica la tradición de 'salir al fresco' en Vallfogona de Balaguer (Lleida). Lleva realizándose desde tiempo indeterminado, desconociendo el origen, aunque los informantes consideran el inicio en la primera casa del pueblo, en 1764. En el pasado, durante el siglo XX, la mayoría de los vecinos participaban activamente, saliendo las noches de verano. Actualmente todavía es un acto social destacado y un número significativo de vecinos toman el fresco nocturno. Se han realizado diversas entrevistas en profundidad a diferentes personas para conocer sus experiencias, vivencias y reflexiones sobre el tema; además, el investigador, en diferentes años, ha observado y participado activamente en la costumbre de 'salir a la fresca'.; This article describes and analyzes from an anthropological perspective the tradition of "going out in the fresh air" in Vallfogona de Balaguer (Lleida).         < mods:abstract > El presente artículo describe y analiza desde una perspectiva antropológica la tradición de 'salir al fresco' en Vallfogona de Balaguer (Lleida). Lleva realizándose desde tiempo indeterminado, desconociendo el origen, aunque los informantes consideran el inicio en la primera casa del pueblo, en 1764. En el pasado, durante el siglo XX, la mayoría de los vecinos participaban activamente, saliendo las noches de verano. Actualmente todavía es un acto social destacado y un número significativo de vecinos toman el fresco nocturno. Se han realizado diversas entrevistas en profundidad a diferentes personas para conocer sus experiencias, vivencias y reflexiones sobre el tema; además, el investigador, en diferentes años, ha observado y participado activamente en la costumbre de 'salir a la fresca'.This article describes and analyzes from an anthropological perspective the tradition of "going out in the fresh air" in Vallfogona de Balaguer (Lleida). It has been carried out since indeterminate time, unaware of the origin, although the informants consider the beginning in the first house of the town, in 1764. In the past, during the twentieth century, most of the neighbors actively participated, going out on summer nights. Currently it is still a prominent social act and a significant number of neighbors take the night fresco.         < field name =" value " > El presente artículo describe y analiza desde una perspectiva antropológica la tradición de 'salir al fresco' en Vallfogona de Balaguer (Lleida). Lleva realizándose desde tiempo indeterminado, desconociendo el origen, aunque los informantes consideran el inicio en la primera casa del pueblo, en 1764. En el pasado, durante el siglo XX, la mayoría de los vecinos participaban activamente, saliendo las noches de verano. Actualmente todavía es un acto social destacado y un número significativo de vecinos toman el fresco nocturno. Se han realizado diversas entrevistas en profundidad a diferentes personas para conocer sus experiencias, vivencias y reflexiones sobre el tema; además, el investigador, en diferentes años, ha observado y participado activamente en la costumbre de 'salir a la fresca'. </ field >
