Descripción:: Curs 2015-2016; Entre els joves, el suïcidi es la primera causa de mort, abans que els accidents de trànsit. Existeix un tabú evident a la societat al voltant d’aquest tema per por a un hipotètic efecte crida, i els mitjans de comunicació en son còmplices, tot i que darrerament s’observa un canvi de tendència. Comunicar el suïcidi podria ser una manera de combatre’l. Amb aquest documental ens endinsem amb la complexitat del tema del suïcidi. Volem conèixer l’opinió dels especialistes, de les autoritats i dels periodistes envers com abordar aquesta paradoxa, i esbrinar per què malgrat i ser una de les principals causes de mort al món, el suïcidi no és tractat com un problema greu de salut pública.; Among the youth, suicide is the first cause of death, even before traffic car accidents. There is an obvious taboo within the society concerning this topic due to the fear of a hypothetic shout out effect and worst, the media is an accomplice of this situation; even though lately, we have noticed a change of direction on this subject. The fact of communicating suicide could be a way of fighting it. In this documentary, we are digging deeper in the complexity of the suicide topic. We want to know the opinion from specialists, authorities and the media on how to approach this paradox and find out why, even when it is one of the main cause for death worldwide, suicide is not treated as a sever problem within the public health.

There is an obvious taboo within the society concerning this topic due to the fear of a hypothetic shout out effect and worst, the media is an accomplice of this situation; even though lately, we have noticed a change of direction on this subject. The fact of communicating suicide could be a way of fighting it. In this documentary, we are digging deeper in the complexity of the suicide topic. We want to know the opinion from specialists, authorities and the media on how to approach this paradox and find out why, even when it is one of the main cause for death worldwide, suicide is not treated as a sever problem within the public health. </ dcrecercat:descriptionabstract >
