Descripció:: This article analyzes the anti-Marxist political campaigns that both the employers' organizations and the moderate and conservative newspapers and parties of Catalonia carried out to prevent a possible victory of the Partit dels Socialistes de Catalunya and the Partit Socialista Unificat de Catalunya in the regional elections of March 1980. Through the study of the Catalan press of the time, the origin, the chronological succession, the discursive strategies and the arguments that characterized those campaigns, as well as their effectiveness, will be explained here; El presente artículo analiza las campañas políticas antimarxistas que tanto las organizaciones patronales como los diarios y partidos moderados y conservadores de Cataluña llevaron a cabo para evitar una posible victoria del Partit dels Socialistes de Catalunya y del Partit Socialista Unificat de Catalunya en las elecciones autonómicas de marzo de 1980. A través del estudio de la prensa catalana de la época, se explicará aquí el origen, la sucesión cronológica, las estrategias discursivas y los argumentos que caracterizaron aquellas campañas, así como su eficacia; Este trabajo se ha realizado en el marco del Grup de Recerca en Guerra, Radicalisme Polític i Conflicte Social (GRECS) de la UAB/UdG (2021-SGR-00045) y en el marco de la Red de Investigación 2022 VOICES (Violencia, Identidad y Conflicto en la España del siglo XX)
